本日午前に、本校外国語指導助手のカリス先生のお父さん、お母さん、弟さんが本校を訪問し授業の様子等を参観しました。ご家族は先週末に来日し、東京や長野を廻り金沢に来ました。日本訪問は初めてということです。

１年生の英語の授業では、急遽飛び入り参加で自己紹介をしてもらいました。生徒達は少し緊張しながらも、"What do you want to do in Japan?" などと質問していました。ご家族の皆さん、ありがとうございました。ご家族は金沢に４日間滞在後、関西方面や広島を訪れるそうです。日本訪問を楽しんでください！

My mom’s name is Rachel.  She is a study abroad advisor at the University of California, San Diego.  Her favorite thing to do is in her free time is to take walks with her friends, and get boba milk tea with me!  She also spends a lot of time playing with the dog.

My dad’s name is David.  He is a high school pottery teacher.  He grows his own coffee beans, and taught me how to make espresso.  His favorite thing to do in his free time is to cook pizza and go cycling.

My brother’s name is Kylan.  He is 21 years ole and is a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  He is a Studio Art major and is very talented at pottery.  His favorite things to do in his free time are surfing, making pottery, and disc-golfing.
