The Sport Day
This is a sports day that has been carried out every year in September since 1965. On this day, students have a lot of competitions like a relay race, a tug of war, a cavalry battle game and so on. In addition, there is a performance battle called “Ouen-Gassen.”Students enjoy dancing in the special costumes. Students make a lot of friends through this festival. By uniting as a team, the more we enjoy the sports day, and the more we tighten our bonds.
Pottery Workshop
Students have a Kutani-yaki experience in October. Kutani-yaki is traditional pottery in Nomi City, where Terai Senior High School is located. We draw pictures like animals or flowers, on a plate.Drawing a picture with special paint on the slick surface of a plate is really difficult, but making you own Kutani-yaki is satisfying
Club Activities
We have many sports clubs and cultural clubs at Terai. Most students participate in club activities. In fact, over 95% of students belong to a club here. Our clubs have achieved great success andare highly valued.
