The Best Things in Life are Free

Recently I heard someone say, "The best things in life are free," and it reminded me of a song I heard by "The Ink Spots." It's an old song, and it's in English, but I hope you can appreciate some of the lyrics.

The moon belongs to everyone—
The best things in life are free
The stars belong to everyone
They gleam there for you and me
The flowers in spring
the robins that sing
The sunbeams that shine
They're yours!—They're mine!
And love can come to everyone—
The best things in life are free

Like the song, I think of the sun, stars, and birds. Time, thoughts, and experiences are free. Breathing, sleeping, and laughing are free. Family and friends are free. There are plenty of wonderful things to be thankful for and remember.
