I love animals! I have two dogs in the United States, Bootsie and Chloe! I miss them every day and I look forward to meeting up with them again. When I arrived in Japan, I noticed that many people have Shiba Inu. In the United States, it’s a little bit uncommon to see Shiba Inu, but it’s very common to see all sorts of other breeds. Bootsie (the black dogin the pictures) is a Great Dane and Catahoula (a dog from Louisiana) mix. Heis very interesting, because each of his eyes are two different colors. One half is blue, the other half is brown. My other dog, Chloe (the white dog in the pictures), is a much smaller Jack Russell Terrier and Dachshund mix.
I’ve had many pets all throughout my life. My mother worked at an animal hospital for a long time. My family once owned birds, cats, dogs, llamas, alpacas, goats, chickens, sheep, pigs. This seems like a lot of animals for a normal house, but I used to live on a ranch (a farm for animals). Texas is a large state and many people own many types of livestock. We would get unlimited eggs from the chickens we owned and my mother would cut the fur off of the llamas, sheep, alpacas, and goats. She was able to make fabric, yarn, and felt out of their fur and sell it for money. I’ve included a picture of one of our goats, Janice, and one of our baby llama’s, Kuzco, about a week after he was born. I hope you enjoy it!
