英語研究部の生徒が、2017年8月20日（日）に石川県文教会館で開催された、
『第１２回石川県高校生英語ディベート大会』に参加してきました。
金沢伏見高校からは男子2名、女子5名の生徒が参加しました。
強豪校がひしめくなか、上位進出はできませんでしたが、
生徒たちは試合後、審査員のALTの方から英語の発音を褒められていました。
来年はさらに練習を積み、今年以上の成果を出したいと思っています。
また、今後は『スピーチコンテスト』や『ドラマフェスティバル』、『暗唱コンテスト』に向けても、練習をしていきたいと思っています。

Our school's English Club joined "The 12th English Debate Competition for High School Students."
It was held at Ishikawa-ken Bunkyoukaika Hall on August 20th, 2017.
2 boys and 5 girls joined the competition as one team.
We tried to do our best but we couldn't win the tournament.
Some students from our school were praised by the judge after the debate.
It's awesome!
We need more practice, and students will definitely prepare more for the competition next year.
We will prepare for the following events such as "The Speech Contest," "The Drama Festival," and "The Recitation Contest" from now on.
